Sazani Associates is an independent, non-profit advisory practice specialising in the social and socio-political dimensions of sustainability across EMEA and the Blue Economy. We work with investors, institutions, civil society and communities operating in complex, contested contexts, where livelihoods, power, history and identity shape risk and legitimacy. We bring extensive expertise in natural resource governance, social performance, ESG and sustainable livelihoods, using rigorous social science, participatory practice and applied governance approaches to support defensible decision-making where conventional ESG tools fall short.
