We advertise all our opportunities, as well as any apprenticeships and paid jobs on this website and on social media. Although we offer particular opportunities, we can also provide bespoke placements and opportunities if you wish to undertake a project as part of your university course or have specific skills or qualifications that you want to develop.
Want to build marketable professional skills whilst making a significant difference in some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities?
We specialize in developing and delivering real programmes and projects combining the complicating factors of small states, coastal livelihoods, participatory practices and Africa. Our opportunities build on over ten years of relationship building through community directed projects.
We will match your skills and knowledge with the local communities and groups we work with to provide a unique learning package for you.
We offer an authentic learning opportunity to support the sustainable development of rural communities, as well as supporting you to appreciate the vibrant Zanzibar culture. You will be working and interacting with local Zanzibaris on a daily basis and will have the perfect opportunity to learn Kiswahili, although English is widely spoken throughout the Island.
